Twos are empathetic, sincere, and warm-hearted. They are friendly, generous, and self-sacrificing, but can also be sentimental, flattering, and people-pleasing. They are well-meaning and driven to be close to others, but can slip into doing things for others in order to be needed. They typically have problems with possessiveness and with acknowledging their own needs. At their Best: unselfish and altruistic, they have unconditional love for others.

For this second type I decided to picture one of my best friends who is herself a type two. In my pictures I wanted to convey the feeling of love. Inspired by photographer, Dorothea Lange I strove to give my pictures a conveying message that connected with the viewer. To grasp this idea of love I photographed Charlotte’s naturally loving relationship with her sister.
How does your type manifest itself in your life?
“Being a type 2, I strive to be a helping hand to anyone anywhere. At home, being the oldest sibling, I aim to be an older sister to Agathe (my youngest sibling) and be the best daughter to my parents. At school being a leader, whether on a council or president of the pro-life club, I am aiming to help others around me. I want to give love to others so i always think of ways for people around me to feel loved. I tend to put others above me which is a positive thing but my mental health declines when i don’t save time for myself. Yes, I want to love others but i also have to love and save time for myself.”

When working on my pictures I decided to have the one with Charlotte by itself colored to emphasize the focus on her, and portray that loving attitude of the second type. For the most part I tried using the rule of thirds and golden rule to emphasize the important points in each picture I also focused on texture, light, and contrast to make each picture as vivid as possible.
